My story

Alex Kolesnikov

I just wanted to get rid of my lower back pain.

Not to become a therapist, not to understand the deep mechanisms of the body—just not to feel pain when standing or walking.

Until I was 20, I played sports, ran, trained, was active. And then—the pain. First, mild discomfort, then a sharp sensation as if my body was no longer obeying me. You can walk, but standing is impossible. It’s as if my lower back is shutting you out of life.

I’ve been through everything: rehabilitation, hospitalization, massages, physical therapy, sports, diets, pills.

Until one day I noticed that my back pain was related to digestion, and jaw tension was related to my pelvic position.

Then I realized: everything in the body is connected.

And this connection isn’t an abstraction, but precise mechanics.

Biomechanics.

That’s how I came to Clinical Spinal Biomechanics—a science that explains why the body loses balance and how to restore its freedom of movement.

I studied from scratch, delving into anatomy, images, and English-language sources, just to… understand how to help myself.

And I did.

And then I began helping others.

First, friends, then clients, then fellow specialists who, like me, were looking for meaning beyond technique.

I created a free online course on the basics of spinal biomechanics—for those who already work with the body:

massage therapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and kinesiologists.

It’s not just anatomy.

It’s a way to see the body systemically, to understand the causes rather than fighting the effects.

The Clinical Biomechanics of the Spinal (CBS)

method is a modern, scientifically based approach to restoring the health of the spine and musculoskeletal system.

It is based on the precise diagnosis of mechanical dysfunctions—displacements, misalignments, and limited mobility of the vertebrae, joints, and musculofascial structures.

The method examines the spine not in isolation, but as the central axis of the body, which controls the functioning of the nervous system, internal organs, and the balance of the entire body.

Imbalanced biomechanics leads to uneven loads, chronic tension, and pain—even in areas where there is no visible damage.

Using gentle manual techniques and precise correction of the vertebral position, the specialist restores the body’s natural axis, symmetry, and muscle balance.

This improves tissue nutrition, relieves spasms, activates the nervous system, and initiates natural self-healing processes.

The method is safe and suitable for both the treatment and prevention of postural disorders, headaches, chronic back pain, joint and visceral dysfunctions.
